Previous workflows often required CM4-to-CM2.9 conversion before validation, introducing potential color mapping errors and adding processing time. The current implementation eliminates this conversion requirement by supporting CM4 natively. The Dolby-certified XML verification tool validates Dolby Vision XML versions 2.0.5, 4.0.2, and 5.1.0, providing documented compliance checks against published specifications. This verification occurs alongside standard QC operations: waveform, vectorscope, and spectrascope analysis; per-track loudness measurement conforming to global standards like A85/BS1770; true and sample peak reporting; and audio phase detection.
